Silence

Here, we must meet, now, in this ancient space that I had been afraid to journey into, till now.

A land buried under the weight of disappointment and expectation.

Together, we must dig to unearth

and wash it in the rain that waits in the clouds for this piece of its beloved land.

And with these new hands, renewed by digging, we must take the rain water and rinse our eyes.

Now we can see, all we have been trying to see, all that heals our heart and brings peace to our soul.

Silence, love’s homecoming.
